Hand-carved dragonfly ring in 18K gold-plated silver 925 — a sculptural animal ring drawing on the symbolism of the dragonfly across Japanese and Art Nouveau traditions.
In Japan, the dragonfly — known as katsumushi, "the insect that never retreats" — is a symbol of courage and good fortune. During the Art Nouveau era, it became a central motif of jewellery design, celebrated for the translucent fragility of its wings and the precision of its form.
This ring honours both traditions: the dragonfly's wings are rendered in delicate openwork, its body carved with fine detail and held in a moment of perfect stillness.
Hand-sculpted one by one in our Montmartre atelier, a sculptural artisan piece with a strong presence, a wearable work of art for everyday life.
