Fusako Koike – Jewelry Artist in Paris

Jewelry artist Fusako Koike working at her Montmartre atelier in Paris, hand-sculpting animal and botanical jewelry in sterling silver and gold-plated silver.

In Montmartre, Fusako Koike creates jewelry that blends sculpture, poetry, and living presence — pieces shaped by hand, inspired by animals and nature.

Born in Tokyo in 1982, Fusako has been living and working in Paris since 2003. Before jewelry, she studied and practiced the art of pastry-making — an experience that shaped her sense of rhythm, balance, and delicacy.

Bridging two cultures, Fusako’s artistic identity reflects both the refinement and subtlety of Japan and the freedom and creative instinct of France. She studied contemporary jewelry art in Paris before developing her own technical language as a self-taught artist — a fusion of traditional know-how and personal expression that defines her style.

Influenced by the aesthetic world of Japanese manga, Fusako’s animal-inspired jewelry blends realism and imagination. Each gesture, curve, and expression captures a moment of life — a living presence frozen in metal. Her sculptural pieces embody both precision and emotion, turning silver into a poetic matter.

Every piece is first hand-sculpted in wax, then cast and finished in her atelier in Paris. Through this slow and sensitive process, the material seems to awaken — carrying the memory of touch and the breath of creation itself.

Fusako’s creations are not just accessories: they are companions that share stories and connect deeply with those who wear them.
