"Daphné" piercings/ silver

Inspired by Bernini’s “Apollo and Daphne,” which I encountered during
a trip to Rome, I created these earrings with the scene in mind where
Daphne begins to transform into a laurel tree.

Each piece is sculpted in wax, capturing the moment when life seems to
awaken like a budding branch.

In the design, the two sides are not identical,
which brings a dynamic sense of movement to the piece.

To stay true to the theme of “purity” that Daphne fought so desperately to protect,
I intentionally chose not to include the laurel fruit, a symbol of fertility.

Only the dignified, elegant leaves are shaped, with carefully placed shine
to highlight natural texture and depth on the surface,
bringing the leaf’s lively expression to life.

Light and comfortable, the design suits everyday wear
as well as more refined occasions.
For those who appreciate nature and the sculptural character of jewellery.
